Its purpose is to help students deepen their knowledge of God and equip them to serve Him through a comprehensive study of the Bible. This program provides a foundation for all aspects of their future, including family, career, ministry, employment, and further education.

Graduating students demonstrate their learning through scripture summaries, comprehensive exams and papers on various topics of Christian theology, and active involvement in serving others, including at least one Evangelistic Outreach.

The required courses primarily include eight Bible Core Classes, representing different sections of the Bible, along with foundational courses in Theology, Bible Survey, verse-by-verse studies of Bible books, and Practical Christian Ministry.

The DBS program shares the same core requirements as the Associate of Biblical Studies but does not have any required general studies courses. This allows students to focus more on Bible, theology, and ministry courses to deepen their understanding in these areas.
